Natural Sand Committee
Project Exploration and Development
Washed sand: washed sand started to be introduced to Hong Kong since 2014. Extracting from the downstream of Xijiang River and with the processes of washing and filtering, washed sand is turned into qualified raw material that meets the specification for construction purposes.
Artificial sand: Artificial sand is highly recommended in recent years in Mainland. After smashing, filtering, grinding and washing, aggregate is processed into synthetic sand for construction uses.
