Introduction

Aggregates Committee has committed to act as a bridge connecting government and relevant enterprises, to service them and to facilitate the sustainable development of aggregates industry.

The Principal Objectives of Aggregates Committee are:

1. To assist the government to optimize the management of the aggregates industry and to regulate the aggregates market under fair competition environment;
2. To provide technical advice and consultation to government for formulation of development strategy, policy, standard and specification of aggregates industry;
3. To implement the relevant standard and specification to ensure good quality aggregates are supplied to the local construction industry;
4. To share industry technology and information to relevant enterprises;
5. To enhance the communication and information exchange with both domestic and foreign aggregates industry;
