Introduction

The Principle Objectives of the HKCMA Cement Committee are:

HKCMA as a representative organization of the construction materials industry in Hong Kong, the Cement Committee articulates the genuine legitimate needs and interest of the cement sector.

Committed to promote the cement industry as a sustainable partner in contributing to infrastructure development and economic growth in Hong Kong by ensuring that high quality cement is being supplied.

To work with the Government in the formulation of policies for the development of the cement industry through advice and consultation.

To serve as a channel of communication with the Government and relevant organizations, and to provide technical recommendations in the drafting of specification, promotion of newer usage of cement and cementitious products.
